In CLIME we developed a suite of Bayesian networks for climate impacts on lakes  and a web-based information system (IS) for the project and for dissemination of its results. On server side the IS had a database for various types of data and on client side the IShad interactive web pages for modeling support and running the Bayesian networks. The results are documented in an edited book.

This was a small study we did for the project Groundwater Resources Assessment under the Pressure of Humanity and Climate Changes. In the project we assessed existing and accessible groundwater databases around the world and constraints and goals for a database for the project.

In OILECO we developed a stand-alone geospatial application for analysing and visualising  nature values vulnerable to oil spills. The application is described in a journal article. [Final report of the project]

8 (subcontract) MTT Agrifood Research Finland In this project we developed a tester for a large soil type polygon shapefile database using the Geoinformatica platform.

In this project we co-developed a method for projecting the impacts of climate change on physical characteristics (ice phenology) of lakes and a system for disseminating the results on a website.  [Final report of the project]

8 (subcontract) Helsinki University In this project we co-developed a method and technology for using Bayesian networks in fusing spatial information in oil spill environmental risk assessment.
HYDROSYS 1.6.2008 - 31.5.2011 200 EU FP7 In this project we analysed environmental monitoring and management from the point of view of using informatics tools on-site. We also run field measurement campaigns and developed related information management tools.
IBAM 1.1.2009 - 31.12.2011 125 Finnish Academy In this project we developed a spatial simulation model of common reed (this is a tool for delivering the simulation results) and a knowledge management tool.
